RECAP: APR 2024 SEASON LAB W/members of mso

Revisiting a few highlighted moments from our magical April ‘24 Lab featuring members of the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra! 😄✨

The teen social hour kicked off with spins from GWML Alum DJ SPHINX DA GOD & grub provided by Ian’s Pizza MKE. We also had a rep from UW-Milwaukee Peck School of the Arts sharing college program info with our students! We then welcomed Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra members Peter Thomas, Jennifer Bouton Schaub & John Bian for an immaculate live trio performance, followed by them sharing their stories & amazing insight on leading lives as professional musicians both inside & outside the realm of Classical Music. Then, we followed with a full roster of one of the most incredibly diverse teen open mics we’ve ever had! From emcees, poets & singers to pianists & classically instrumentalists on violin, cello & harp, the evening was filled with joy, creativity & a love for music 🎵
